Reflexology

Reflexology works on the principal that different parts of the feet correspond with different parts of the body which are presented as reflex points. Reflexology is a non-intrusive, natural therapy. The therapist applies a specialised gentle massage technique, with an aim to rebalance and relax the specific reflexes being worked. The treatment will be tailored to a client’s specific needs. Reflexology can be focused on supporting specific health problems or can be used for supporting general health. It is wonderfully relaxing and can be excellent for stress, relaxation and wellbeing.

Body Massage

Incorporating a blend of massage techniques, this treatment will be tailored to your specific needs, working on whichever areas you choose, including face and scalp. The massage can be useful for tension, stress relief, relaxation and general wellbeing. I am a qualified aromatherapist and hot stone practitioner, so the added benefits of therapeutic hot stones and/or aromatherapy oils can be used for an additional charge (not available in pregnancy massage). If you are pregnant, I am fully qualified to treat through pregnancy.

Reflexology Lymphatice Drainage (RLD)

Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage was originally created by Sally Kay, for helping people with lymphoedema. It is a specialised technique to encourage lymphatic drainage and is used for lymphoedema but can also be beneficial for inflammatory conditions, swelling and autoimmune conditions. As a standalone treatment or can be combined with normal reflexology.

Cancer and Supportive Care Massage/Reflexology

Hopi Ear Candling

A traditional treatment originating from the Hopi Indians. A special candle is inserted into the ear and the vibration created gently stimulates a massaging effect to the inner ear. This is followed by a neck, shoulder, face and scalp massage making it a wonderfully relaxing treatment.

This may help rebalance the inner ear and stimulate blood and lymph flow, which may relieve stress, whilst supporting ear and sinus problems.

Reflexology is a specialised technique which applies gentle pressure to your feet, aiming to bring about a state of relaxation and help the body’s own healing process. It can be used to support specific health problems or to aid relaxation and wellbeing.

Cancellation Policy: Full payment will be required if appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice.

What to expect at your appointment

Before any treatment, a thorough consultation will be conducted. I will explain the treatment and you can ask any questions. You will then be given privacy to make yourself comfortable on the therapy couch, ready for treatment. Pillows, bolsters and blankets will be used to make your comfort optimal. All you need to do, then, is lie back, relax and enjoy the treatment.
Clients under 16, will require a parent/carer to be with them at all times.

After the treatment, I will provide aftercare. If possible, it is beneficial to allow yourself time to relax when you leave the clinic.

Sometimes I really don’t want to leave, as I’m so relaxed!
